A criminal case under article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order) has been brought against blogger Ihar Losik, his wife Daria wrote on Instagram. There is no official confirmation of this information from law enforcement agencies yet.
According to her, now Ihar is kept in a temporary detention facility in Akrestsina in Minsk.
Ihar Losik, the administrator of the popular telegram channel “Belarus of the Brain,” was detained in the afternoon of June 25 after a search in his apartment. He faces up to three years in prison.
