Ukraine puts economy on war footing

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, has announced the transfer of the country’s economy to a war footing and writes UNIAN with reference to the minister’s page on Facebook.

“We have put the country’s economy on a war footing. Plants and factories continue to work, fulfill military orders, repair equipment, turn trophies into weapons. To fight, the country has to work, everyone in their place. If you had to evacuate – find a job in a new place – your help is needed everywhere,” Reznikov wrote on Facebook.
