Volha Kavalkova, a co-chair of the Belarusian Christian Democratic party and presidential hopeful Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s associate, has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest on Thursday, human rights centre Viasna reports.

On March 19, the police detained Belarusian anarchist and former political prisoner Mikalai Dzyadok at 21:25 in Chaikina street in Minsk.

A Minsk court has punished co-chairman of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Pavel Seviarynets for 15 days of arrest for the protest in defense of independence on December 20. Pavel also received 15 days for taking part in the protest on December 21, BCD activist Volha Kavalkova wrote in social networks.
